Downloading and sharing
Save your finished reel, copy a shareable link, or send it straight to your platforms.
Once a reel finishes rendering, you'll get a notification, and it'll show as Ready in My Reels. Open it to play it back full screen.
Download the file
Hit Download to save the video to your device. It comes as a standard MP4 video file, so it'll play anywhere and upload to any platform.
- On a phone, the file saves to your camera roll or downloads, ready to post from the Instagram or TikTok app.
- On a computer, it saves to your downloads folder. You can then send it to your phone, or post from a desktop browser.
The video is yours to use however you like, on social, in ads, on your website, or in emails to guests.
Share directly
Tap Share to hand the video off to whatever sharing options your device offers, such as messaging apps, social apps or AirDrop. On a phone this is the quickest way to get the reel into the Instagram or TikTok app without saving it first.
Copy a link
Need to send the reel to a colleague or co-host? Use Copy link to grab a link to the reel that you can paste anywhere. It's handy for getting sign-off before you post, or for sharing the result with a property owner.
If the buttons don't work
If a download or share doesn't go through the first time, try again. On some browsers, sharing isn't supported, in which case download the file and post it manually instead. Everything you create stays in My Reels, so you can always come back and download it again later. </content>
